Conditions today: Partly cloudy, isolated showers; wind light south-westerly; moderate one-metre swell; spring tides turning to neaps.

Rock and surf: A few small-sized shad at Blue Lagoon in early morning; small kob in Winklespruit and Illovo; some kob around, even in daytime; good variety of fish at Umkomaas, kob, queenfish, shad, grunter; kingfish and skates off Durban piers. Shoal kob along

South Coast; sand sharks, Zambezi and ragged-tooth and big skates at Cape Vidal and Mapelane.

Skiboats and paddleskis: Good gamefish season continues, especially off deeper reefs further out at sea; shoal-sized 'couta, tunny and bonito taken by jetski anglers at Aliwal Shoal.

Light-tackle boating: Good variety of fish in Durban Bay, such as grunter, queenfish and sea pike; Tigers still biting at Jozini.

Dam and lake fishing: Not fishing so well, bass and trout scarce.

Spearfishing: Visibility not so good with discoloured water due to strong winds and heavy spring tide surf.

Bathing conditions: Moderate back and sidewashes; be on the lookout for bluebottles.

    The KZN Federal Council on Disability (KZNFCD) has a four ball fundraising golf day on April 21 at the Bluff National Park Club.

    The KZNFCD is the umbrella body for all schools and organisations dealing with the various disabilities in the province. Entry fee
